Das Teatr Biuro Podrózy eröffnet mit der schaurig-schönen Performance Carmen Funebre das 13. Internationale Straßenzirkusfestival LA STRADA.
Selten wurde das Grauen so schön inszeniert! artserv.net und agitPolska e.V. holen mit dem renommierten Teatr Biuro Podrózy aus Poznan polnische Performancekunst der Spitzenklasse nach Bremen. Die Performance Carmen Funebre eröffnet das 13. Internationale Straßenzirkusfestival LA STRADA am Donnerstag, 16. August 2007, um 21 Uhr auf dem Bremer Domshof. Das auf Stelzen agierende zehnköpfige Ensemble des Teatr Biuro Podrózy wird mit seinem Stück über Krieg und Gewalt auch am Freitag, 17. August 2007, um 22 Uhr die Zuschauer auf dem Domshof in seinen Bann ziehen. An beiden Abenden ist der Eintritt frei.

 

Carmen Funebre:
Das Teatr Biuro Podrózy hat mit Carmen Funebre („Trauermarsch für Carmen“) ein imposantes Stück über den Wahnsinn des Krieges geschaffen. Überlebensgroße abscheuliche Wesen beherrschen die Szenerie der Straßenproduktion – auf Stelzen verbreiten die Akteure Angst und Schrecken. Das 1994 entstandene Stück basiert auf den ethnischen Konflikten in Bosnien. In die Produktion woben Regisseur Pawel Szkotak und sein Ensemble selbst gesammelte Berichte von Zeitzeugen des Jugoslawienkrieges ein. Mit Feuer, Suchscheinwerfern und hämmernder Musik inszeniert die Gruppe die Schrecken des Krieges. Ihre Bilder und Symbole wirken beeindruckend schön und schaurig zugleich. Carmen Funebre war schon auf zahlreichen internationalen Festivals vertreten und erhielt renommierte Auszeichnungen.
